One of my favorite artists, Sylvain Chomet, is a writer/director/artist who did the animated movies "The Illusionist," and "Triplets of Belleville." Both of these animations have a unique style to them, and take place in France. There is very little to no talking in the movies, letting the drawn actions speak for themselves. They are very interesting because they explain little things about every character through the way that each is drawn, and they are different from the norm of animated films.
