Ed Bierly

Edward J. Bierly was an oil painter born in New York in 1920. He served in WWII and earned his Fine Arts degree from the University of Buffalo in 1949. He moved to Virginia where he lived until passing away from cancer in 2004. He loved to paint wildlife, and lived in a beautiful foresty neighborhood filled with wildlife, which inspired his artwork. He was the father of my mother's best friend, and her neighbor when she was young.
